G’day from ShroomHost! We aim for top-notch edible mushrooms every time. Our policy follows Australian Consumer Law – you’re protected. Note: All products are legal edibles (no psychedelics). Quick read for smooth shopping.
Faulty or Spoiled Mushrooms?
If your shrooms arrive damaged, mouldy, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery (perishables move fast!) for a full refund or replacement.

How to claim: Email info@shroomhost.com with order number, photos, and details. Free returns via Australia Post.

What qualifies: Spoiled edibles, crushed packaging, wrong variety. Covers original shipping.

Next steps: We inspect within 24 hours and refund/replace pronto.
Items must be unopened/unused due to food safety.
Change of Mind?
Under ACL, 30 days from delivery for non-faulty returns. But fresh mushrooms are tricky:

Eligible: Unopened dried mushrooms or accessories (e.g., storage jars).

Non-returnable (health regs):

Fresh/perishable mushrooms (once temp-controlled chain breaks).

Opened packages, edibles, or extracts (food hygiene laws).

Custom blends or personalised orders.

Steps:

Email info@shroomhost.com within 30 days for a Return ID.

Pack chilled (use ice packs) and send to: ShroomHost Returns, [Your Warehouse Address], Australia.

You cover return shipping (unless faulty).

Refunds: Processed within 10 business days of receipt, minus shipping. We’ll confirm by email.

Refunds
Back to your original payment within 10 business days post-inspection. Partial for non-returnables if faulty.
